For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
You are created for good works and they are prepared for you by God.
While walking on this earth Jesus always did good things. Now we are created in him to do good works as well. He is working in us and through us helping us so that it will happen.
Draw close to him and you will experience that you start doing good works. Not because you have to, but because Jesus is on your inside, and his nature inside of you is working it out through you.
